This product is a DTPA chelating agent that can effectively stabilize metal ions in the complexing process and reduce their adverse effects on bleaching. It is mainly used for chemi-mechanical wood pulp hydrogen peroxide bleaching and pulp stripping hydrogen peroxide bleaching. It can improve pulp whiteness and reduce hydrogen peroxide consumption.
Features
This chelator can form stable complexes with metal ions in the system, inhibiting the ineffective decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. Has good scale inhibition and dispersion performance in high alkali and high hardness water. It can improve pulp whiteness, enhance whiteness stability, and slow down yellowing after bleaching. When used together with sodium silicate, it can effectively reduce the generation of silicon scale in the system.
Physical and Chemical Properties:
Appearance: yellowish liquid
Solid content: 40% min
Specific weight: 1.20-1.30
Chelating rate: ≥80mgCa/g
Usage
In the chemi-mechanical pulp system, this chelator can be added in both the pre soaking process and the high concentration bleaching process. The conventional dosage is 2.0kg/t (dry pulp) in the pre soaking section and 2.0kg/t (dry pulp) in the bleaching section.
In the waste paper deink process, It is usually dosed to the pulper or before thermal dispersion, with a conventional dosage of 1.0-2.0kg/t (dry pulp).
The product can be dosed by using a metering pulp directly with the original solution or after dilution . diluted before use is recommeded.
This product is harmless to the human body and is only for industrial use. No special protection is required during operation. Please seal and store when not in use.
