This product is an organic hydrogen peroxide stabilizer mainly used for helping control of hydrogen peroxide bleaching in chemical and mechanical pulp. It can reduce or eliminate the interference of metal ions on hydrogen peroxide, reduce the ineffective decomposition of hydrogen peroxide, thereby improving bleaching efficiency, reducing the amount of hydrogen peroxide used, and alleviating the damage to pulp fibers during bleaching.
Features
1. Efficient stabilizing effect, which can ensure the effective decomposition of hydrogen peroxide
2. Capable of withstanding high temperatures and high alkalinity
3. Good compatibility, not easy to react with other substances, not easy to scale, and will not leave too much residue on the fiber
4. Low viscosity, good dispersibility, able to quickly mix with hydrogen peroxide bleaching solution and pulp;
5. Safe, eco-friendly and easily degradable
Physical and Chemical Properties
Appearance: Yellow to reddish brown liquid
Specific gravity (g/mL): 1.0-1.2
Viscosity (mPa · s): ≤ 50
pH:4.0-7.0
Usage
Use a metering pump to add this stabilizer or diluent of this product together with the hydrogen peroxide bleaching solution into the stock. The specific amount of addition depends on the type of pulp and bleaching requirements, usually ranging from 0.5-5 kgs per ton of pulp. Please dont' take it for granted that more hydrogen peroxide stabilizer are used and better result will be. The dosage should be increased at first and then decreased, with an optimal range that varies with the type of pulp. It is recommended to conduct a test before using on machine.
Appropriate precautions should be taken when using this product. Protective clothing should be used, and safety equipment such as goggles and rubber gloves should be worn when operating the product to ensure that the product does not splash into the eyes. Before use, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet.
