In the process of alkali recovery from black liquor, due to the high temperature, strong alkalinity, high content of silicon, magnesium, calcium, oxalate, and solid matter, as well as high viscosity of black liquor, the evaporator scaling is very serious and even get blocked. This leads to shutdown for cleaning, which not only increases costs but also affects production, becoming a problem that has always plagued alkali recovery.
This antiscalant for black liquor evaporator is composed of various components such as surfactants, dispersants, and viscosity reducers. When the scale inhibitor is added to the black liquor, the viscosity reducer in the scale inhibitor reacts with the silicon, oxalate, and various sugars in the black liquor, causing it to lose its viscosity and suspend in the black liquor. Surfactants and dispersants disperse scaling ions such as calcium, magnesium, and silicon in black liquor to a maximum extent, increasing its resistance to precipitation and fluidity, making them hard for precipitation and adhesion on the evaporator surface, thereby maintaining the cleanliness on the evaporator surface. Dispersants can also undergo chemical reactions with the scale on the surface of the evaporator, causing old scale to dissolve and fall off, achieving the goal of removing old scale. Because the formation of new scales is prevented and the old scales are removed, heat conduction rate is dramaticaly increased. The evaporation rate of water in black liquor is also accelerated, shortening the time required for black liquor evaporation and improving the efficiency and energy saving of the entire alkali recovery process, resulting in significant benefits.

Dilute the antiscalant in the dosing tank and add it though a metering pump into the black liquor sent to the evaporator . This solution should not be stored for a long time after dilution. better dilute on field.
This unique scale inhibitor for black liquor evaporator is weakly alkaline. When operating, wear glasses and gloves, avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc., and wash with plenty of water in case of contact.
