Product Overview

To address customers' higher demands for enhanced paper strength and folding resistance in packaging paper, while also optimizing the strength reduction caused by the closed circulation of white water, our company has developed a new amphoteric PAM that exhibits excellent enhanced folding resistance and controls anti-interference substances in high-speed systems. This product is not only suitable for various pulp materials, but also retains strong performance, improving the dewatering capacity of paper machines, and significantly enhancing physical indicators such as paper bursting strength, folding resistance, and drainage.

Product Packaging

Dry Strength Agent is packaged in liquid form and is shipped in IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) barrels. Alternatively, tanker trucks can be provided for transportation based on customer requirements. For other packaging options, please contact our sales representative.

Product Applications and Characteristics

Dry Strength Agent is an amphoteric dry reinforcing agent with high ion conductivity, optimized ion characteristics, and excellent bonding performance with fiber materials, which can effectively enhance the reinforcement effect. 

The dry strength agent boasts a unique branched structure that exhibits strong anti-interference capabilities and a high binding priority with hydroxyl groups. It effectively eliminates the consumption of enhancing agents, such as carboxyl and sulfonic acid groups, in  anionic waste, and performs equally well in systems with high white water closed circulation. It has a low demand for positive charges, such as aluminum sulfate and PAC.  It can be diluted with white water, saving valuable fresh water resources.

Dry Strength Agent enhances the branching degree and molecular weight of polymers, not only providing strong retention performance but also offering good drainage and retention effects. Additionally, it does not have the strengthening limit in high-grade paper types.

The addition point for the product should be chosen where it can be fully mixed with the slurry. Typical addition points include the slurry pool or the inlet of the slurry pump in the slurry pool.  It is recommended to use an online dilution device for dilution before addition, with a dilution ratio of approximately 20 times.

 Material compatibility

Compatible with 304 stainless steel, PPR, PVC, and high-density polyethylene

Materials such as (HDPE).

Note: It is recommended that all large-capacity bulk storage tanks be equipped with material-compatible liners to prevent localized corrosion.

 Storage

If stored in an unopened original container, at room temperature between 5-30℃, and protected from direct sunlight, the shelf life of our Dry Strength Agent is 5 months.
