Drainage Aid is a cationic modified collagen amine-based polymer designed for use in industrial and cultural paper. It can significantly improve wet-end drainage, reduce steam consumption, enhance retention effect, increase paper machine speed and operational performance, and improve paper strength.

Product Applications and Features

Drainage Aid is a high-charge, medium-to-low molecular weight polymer that, when added to industrial paper, can promote charge balance in the system and reduce the impact of anionic impurities on the system.

Drainage Aid possesses excellent drainage assistance and significant synergistic retention capacity, which can enhance the drainage ability of paper sheets, reduce steam consumption, and improve the speed and operability of paper machines

The collagen component in CZ-3688 contains a large number of unsaturated bonds and active groups, which can provide more bonding points for fibers, enhance the bonding ability of fibers, and ultimately improve the strength of the resulting paper.

The Drainage Aid main chain molecule has flexibility, and when combined with fibers, it can effectively enhance the fiber's resistance to breakage, thereby improving the folding endurance of the paper.

Drainage Aid can be used independently or in combination with dry strength agents. The improvement in paper strength exhibits a good linear relationship with the amount of product added, and there is no apparent limit to the dosage.

When adding the product, it needs to be diluted with clean water by a factor of 10-50 times. The typical addition point is before the slurry pump, or it can also be added at the inlet of the slurry pump.  Determine the optimal addition amount based on specific circumstances.

Material Compatibility

Compatible with 304 stainless steel, CPVC, and high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Note: It is recommended that all large-capacity bulk storage tanks be lined with material-compatible liners to avoid localized corrosion.

Storage

If stored in an unopened original container, at low humidity and low room temperature, the shelf life of drainage aid is 3 months.
