AKD Neutral Sizing Agent is a self-retention sizing agent that not only enhances the water resistance of paper but also improves its strength, , smoothness, and stiffness. It also exhibits excellent retention and drainage properties. This product can replace dual-component retention systems, boasts fast maturation, reduces equipment corrosion, and simultaneously enhances production efficiency and reduces costs.

Product Packaging

AKD Neutral Sizing Agent is packed in liquid form, primarily in recyclable 1000Kg/IBC barrels. If other packaging options are required, please contact our sales representative.

Applications and Features

The AKD Neutral Sizing Agent has excellent water resistance, superior adhesive effect, good printability, fast curing speed, and low foaming.

AKD Neutral Sizing Agent can reduce equipment corrosion and extend the service life of screens and felts, and can be used in conjunction with calcium carbonate fillers to reduce costs.

The product dosage is adjusted according to the type of pulp and the technical requirements for finished paper, with a general dosage of 0.1-2% (based on dry pulp).

The usage of AKD Neutral Sizing Agent is to continuously add it directly into the mixing tank or blending tank using a metering pump.

Material Compatibility

Compatible with 304 stainless steel, CPVC, and high-density polyethylene (HDPE)

Note: It is recommended that all large-capacity bulk storage tanks be equipped with material-compatible liners to prevent localized corrosion.

Storage

Store in a cool place, with a shelf life of 3 months at temperatures below 25℃.
