This fixative is a new type of charge regulator designed to address issues such as the accumulation of a large amount of anionic trash in the wet end of a closed loop papermaking system, which affects paper quality and causes paper defects. This fixative appears as a colorless to light yellow viscous liquid, easily soluble in water, and has good stability. After being dosed, it will combine with anionic trash and fine materials in the stock, neutralize soluble organic substance, neutralize the negative charges on the surface of small fibers with high charge density, balance the wet end potential, reduce the interference of anionic impurities, and promote the retention of small fibers and wet end chemical additives (such as sizing agents, dyes, and reinforcing agents). And it can improve the one-way retention rate and dewatering rate of the paper sheet on the wire, improve the operating performance of the paper machine, reduce the amount of drying steam, and increase the speed and output.
