Overview

This Surface Sizing Agent is a newly developed sizing agent tailored for the current raw material structure and actual production of paperboard. It exhibits strong film-forming properties and excellent water resistance. When used in the production of coated white paperboard, Kraft box board, kraft cardboard, corrugated base paper and white cardboard, it can significantly enhance the water resistance and ring crush strength of the paperboard surface, reduce paper dusting during coating, and elevate product quality.

Applications and Features

This Surface Sizing Agent is a multifunctional synthetic polymer that combines water resistance and reinforcement. It exhibits excellent affinity for fibers and excellent water resistance. It can be used in combination with starch or alone, significantly reducing the Cobb value of paper, improving paper stiffness, and fully replacing internal sizing. It purifies the paper machine system environment, reduces water treatment (environmental protection) pressure, and reduces costs.

The typical dosage of this product is 0.6-3Kg, which can be appropriately adjusted based on the type of paper and actual production conditions after testing.

The typical usage of Surface Sizing Agent is as follows:

1. After the starch solution has been gelatinized and kept warm, add aluminum sulfate at 5-10% of the starch amount (2-5kg), and stir evenly, PAC can also be used as a substitute for aluminum sulfate, and the dosage can be appropriately reduced

(1-3Kg) for better results.

   2. CZ-8310 is added to the outlet of the glue pump using a metering pump.  When adding aluminum sulfate or PAC continuously, it is added to the inlet of the glue pump.

   3. When adding CZ-8310, it is best not to exceed the temperature of the rubber compound 65 ℃.

Material Compatibility

Compatible with 304 stainless steel, CPVC, and high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Note: It is recommended that all large-capacity bulk storage tanks be lined with material-compatible liners to avoid localized corrosion.

Storage

Store in a cool place, with a shelf life of 6 months at a storage temperature of 5-35℃.
